The Montrose Remembrance Garden

Avondale business owner Charles Armstrong, Montrose Counseling Center and the Aaron Scheerhoorn Foundation for Change dedicated the northwest corner of California and Grant streets in Avondale on July 28, 2011 as The Montrose Remembrance Garden.  It was a very nice evening as everyone remembered and celebrated the lives of those who have lost their lives to hate crimes and bullying.  In addition, they did not forget  the victims left behind to deal with the loss of their loved ones. Thank you to Charles Armstrong for creating this garden in Avondale as a place of remembrance and meditation for all Houstonians to appreciate.
